Prek & Elementary: Please remember that today is Basketball Sweetheart Day! We will have early release times listed below:
11:30-11:50 - K-4: Back & Front Car Lines for those not attending the ceremony - must have turned in a note so we know to have students in the line;
12:00-12:20 -Prek - pick up in your regular spots - regular procedure for pickup
12:25 - Parent may sign a student out in the gym if the parent is also attending the ceremony - see your child's teacher before the ceremony begins
1:20 - Regular Car Lines (front & back) for students not picked up early
1:30 - Buses will run

PCSD: Parkers Chapel School District is experiencing a phone and internet outage. We hope this issue is resolved sometime today.
PCHS & PCMS Parents/Guardians: Any middle or high school students that will not be attending the Sweetheart Ceremony on Friday, January 31st with their class must be picked up at 11:30 am in front of the high school entrance. Written notice (no phone calls) must be given to the office by the end of the day Thursday, January 30th if you will be picking up your child early. No students will be signed out at the office. If written notice is not provided, then your child will attend the Sweetheart Ceremony with their class and will be dismissed after the ceremony at 1:30 pm.
PCSD: This is a reminder that school will dismiss at 1:30 on Friday, January 31st.
Sweetheart ceremony will be in the gym at 12:30 and crowning will be at 5:00 pm in the gym. PC will play Poyen after the crowning ceremony.

The Parkers Chapel Trojans will host their 2025 Sweetheart basketball game against the Poyen Indians on Friday, Jan. 31st. The Sweetheart festivities will begin that day in the gym at 12:30 with the presentation of the court. The crowning ceremony will begin at 5:00 that evening.
In keeping with the celebration of our school's 100 year history, we will recognize our former basketball and Sweetheart queens at the halftime of the junior boys game, which will begin as soon as the crowning ceremony is over.

PCSD: There will not be a second chance breakfast tomorrow (January 22nd). If your student wants to eat breakfast they will need to go before school and eat in the cafeteria.
PreK & Elementary: As part of our school safety improvement plan, the school has installed gates at the gym parking lot's front and back entrances. The gates will be closed at 8:15 a.m. and will be opened at 2:00 p.m. daily. They will be closed or opened in the evenings and on weekends following schedules determined by our administration and according to planned events or activities. Preschool students who leave early must be picked up in the auditorium lobby at the time scheduled with or by the teacher. Parents should not arrive for the car line before 2:00 p.m. when the gates have been opened.
PCSD: This is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, January 20th in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day.

PC Booster club will have their annual bake sale during the basketball games tomorrow, January 14th. If you are planning to provide a baked good, please have it to the gym by 4:00 pm tomorrow.
PCSD: Due to the change in weather, we are starting to load buses and car riders. If you are able to get your students early, they can be picked up starting now and buses will leave before 1:00. We will resume school on Monday, January 13th.
PCSD: Pre-K pickup tomorrow 11:45-12:15; car line (Kindergarten - 6th) will be at 12:30-12:45; buses run at 1:00. There will be no aftercare tomorrow (Thursday, January 9th). No school on Friday.
PCSD: Due to the forecast for a winter storm, Parkers Chapel School District will dismiss early tomorrow, January 9th, at 1:00 pm.
Additionally, there will be no school on Friday, January 10th, to ensure the safety of our students, staff, and families.
Due to the possibility of inclement weather, the Bingo/Chili supper has been rescheduled for February 1st.

PC Athlete Parents/Guardians: Parkers Chapel will be hosting the Holiday Tournament on December 27th, 28th & 30th. We need all of our Trojan community to help provide food for the hospitality room.
