Parkers Chapel School District

Parkers Chapel will have Parent/Teacher conferences Thursday, February 5th from 2 - 6 pm. School will dismiss at 1:30 that day.

A message from Hampton regarding the games today: They will be played in the Hampton High School Gym. Gates open at 4:30pm with the first game (JG) starting at 5pm followed by the SG and SB games. Please use caution! There are still some icy patches/slippery spots on campus, so please watch your step! We look forward to seeing you at the games!

Our Scholastic Book Fair dates have changed:

New dates: Tuesday, February 3 through Monday, February 9

Daily shopping times: 7:15 a.m. – 3:30 p.m.

We’re excited to welcome students and families back into the fair during those hours.

PCSD: Parkers Chapel School District will not have school tomorrow, Friday, January 30th. Basketball games in Poyen tomorrow night have been rescheduled for February 6th @ 4:30. The games in Hampton have been rescheduled for Monday, February 2nd @ 5 pm.

(Just past Dollar General, it is the church in the curve, just before turning on Parkers Chapel Rd. ) The coaches meeting will be rescheduled at a later date. This is a reminder that the Sweetheart ceremony will start at 12:30-12:45 today. We will have early dismissal and no aftercare today. If you are attending the ceremony, please park in the high school parking lot or behind the gym. If you park behind the gym, park on the front row facing the tennis courts so you can exit easily. We will dismiss at 1:30. PreK parents should have been notified about their pickup times by the PreK teachers.

PCSD: Those attending the sweetheart ceremony tomorrow will need to park in the High school parking lot or behind the gym towards the tennis courts so they don’t block forming car lines. Car lines will run at 1:30 as will the buses.

PC Baseball Parents/Guardians: The baseball meeting scheduled for Friday, January 23rd has been canceled.

Our spring Scholastic Book Fair is almost here, February 2 - 6, in the elementary library!
Our goal is for every child to go home with a book; unfortunately for some of our students, this may not be possible because they are unable to afford a book.

To help every child have the opportunity to get a book, Scholastic has a fantastic program called............

The Share the Fair program allows anyone to donate funds to help students who may not be able to afford a book. Again, our goal is for every child to go home with a book, and generosity from our community helps make that possible. Donations of any amount make a difference.
