PCHS & PCMS Parents/Guardians: Any middle or high school students that will not be attending the Homecoming Ceremony on Friday, October 4th with their class must be picked up at 11:30 am in front of the high school entrance. Written notice (no phone calls) must be given to the office by the end of the day Thursday, October 3rd if you will be picking up your child early. No students will be signed out at the office. If written notice is not provided, then your child will attend the Homecoming Ceremony with their class and will be dismissed after the ceremony at 1:30 pm.
The Parkers Chapel Trojans will host their Homecoming football game against the Centerpoint Knights on Friday, Oct. 4 at 7:00. The Homecoming festivities will begin at 12:30 that afternoon with the presentation of the Court in the gym. The parade starts at 2:00 and will begin and end its route at the football field. The pep rally will be at the football stadium after the parade.
The crowning ceremony will be at the football field at 5:45.
In keeping with the celebration of our school's 100 year history, we will recognize our former football Homecoming Queens at 6:30.

Flu shots will be given on October 8th. Flu forms will go home today and must be turned in by October 3rd. We will not accept forms after October 3rd. Please fill out forms completely before returning.
The PSAT has been moved and will now be taken on October 22nd. If you have an 11th grader who wants to take the test, they must let Mrs. Malone know by October 4th. The cost for 11th graders to take the test is $12.00, and must be paid by October 11th.
Sophomore, Junior & Senior Parents/Guardians: Below is a signup link for an ACT Prep class that will be offered on November 15, 2024. This will be the last ACT Prep class offered by SCSC in 2024. This session is hosted by CW Prep from 9:00-2:00. It will be held at South Central Service Cooperative, 2235 California SW, Camden AR 71701. This training is face-to-face and has a 60 person limit. Elementary: Dismissal times today will not change due to the pep rally.
Elementary: The elementary students are not attending the pep rally today. We are still establishing car line and bus line pickup routines. I do not want to confuse students with the "rushed" dismissal following a pep rally so soon. We will attend all other pep rallies. If a parent wants to check out their child and take them to the pep rally that will be fine and will not count against attendance.

Junior Parents/Guardians: Juniors MUST turn in their Class Fee of $30 to Mrs. Coffman by the end of September. This fee helps us put a deposit down on a prom venue.
