Parents/Guardians: Permission slips regarding the solar eclipse on Monday, April 8th were sent home with your student. In order for your student to be able to participate in the viewing of the eclipse at PCMS/PCHS using glasses provided to our school, the permission slip must be returned no later than Monday morning. This is a reminder that we will not have school on Friday, March 29, 2024, in observance of Good Friday.
Students in 3rd - 10th grades will be taking the ATLAS Summative Writing Test tomorrow morning. Please make sure students are on time to school and get a good night's rest. Please do not check students out unless it is an emergency. Once they start the test, an appeal will have to be submitted to the state department if they do not finish.

Attn PC Parents/Guardians (6th - 11th Grades): Due to travel for the regional tournament, the parent meeting for cheer tryouts has been moved to MONDAY, February 19th at 5:30pm in the auditorium. This meeting is required for parents or guardians of students in grades 6-11 who plan to try out for the junior high or high school cheer team. Parkers Chapel School District Bus information for Tuesday, January 23rd: Buses will run at normal times, but they will not be able to travel down the following roads: Glenn Road, Pickering Road, Souix Nation Road, Feedmill Road, and they cannot go past the playground in Bounds Trailer Park. You may bring students to the main roads to be picked up by the bus or to the playground in Bounds Trailer Park. We are continuing to monitor road conditions and will let you know if any changes will be made for Wednesday.

Educators Rise and eXtreme Drugfree Youth are sponsoring a Canned Food Drive Contest for K-12th. The class which brings in the most cans by November 16 will win a Spudnut Party! We will have a K - 4, 5 - 8, and 9 - 12th grade winner. All cans donated will go to the Salvation Army Soup Kitchen.
The Parkers Chapel School District is excited to announce that they have received a $5,000 grant from Lockheed Martin to go toward our STEM Engineering and Gateway programs to help fund family STEM nights and help our program continue to expand.
Come out and support our annual Junior Class prom fundraiser as we present the Parkers Chapel Chili Supper & BINGO on Saturday, October 28th. Chili Service will begin at 4pm in the cafeteria and BINGO will kick off at 6pm in the high school gym. We can't wait to see you there!
