Elementary Parents: Prek through sixth grade students are having a lot of slips and falls on the playground, which results in being muddy. We do not want to have to call parents and ask them to leave work to bring a change of clothes. We are asking that you put a change of clothes (top, shorts or pants, underclothes) in your child's backpack to help with this situation. Donations: The nurse is accepting boys and girls clothes (pants, shirts, shorts, packaged underclothes, and socks in sizes SMALL OR MEDIUMS, OR SIZES 5-6-7-8). Thanks for packing a change of clothes or donating. We greatly appreciate your help.

The Parkers Chapel School Board voted tonight that effective immediately, masks will be encouraged but not required. We will continue to follow all other recommended guidelines. Social distancing of 3 feet in classrooms when possible will stay in effect. In the event that there is a positive case, we will follow quarantine recommendations (the positive person and those in close proximity will be quarantined unless both had masks on). The cleaning regimen of the campus will stay a top priority. It is extremely important that if a student has any symptoms, the student must stay at home & the school nurse must be contacted.

Parkers Chapel School will begin raising money for a community service project beginning tomorrow. Students will be able to donate as many times as possible to their homeroom. 100% of this money will be donated to the following charities: (1) #teamcorrie and (2) Delek workers hospitalized following the recent fire / explosion at the local plant. Mr. Hoover and the school chose to donate 50% of the money raised to #teamcorrie in memory of Mrs. Corrie Gross Bechtelheimer. She was our speech teacher and dear friend until she passed away on June 6, 2014 after her courageous battle with cancer. The other 50% will be a community based project donation and will be given to the burn victims to assist with their families' needs as they recover. Any amount you can give will be truly appreciated. The class that raises the most money will win a park lunch field trip. The top ten donating students will get to take a swipe with the clippers and shave Mr. Hoover's head next Thursday afternoon on the playground. (please place money or checks in an envelope with your child's name on the outside; make checks out to PC Activity). Thank you in advance for helping us - help our community. Money will be collected Friday, March 12 through Wednesday March 17.

Elementary Car Line: (front and back): 1. Do not pull around other vehicles, pass other vehicles in line , or cut across the parking lot to exit. We’ve witnessed two near accidents in the past few days due to this 2. Do not use a cell phone while in the car line. It is against the law and dangerous. Thank you for following these rules. Violators will be removed from the car line and will be required to park across the street daily. walk their student to the front entrance of the school, and pick up their student there during afternoon pickup time. The safety of our students and parents is important to us. Again, thank you for your cooperation.
