Due to overwhelming support of our pageant this year, we sold out of our allotted tickets for the morning pageant division which is approved by the Department of Health.

Our Junior/Senior Prom is April 10th, at the El Dorado Conference Center. Tickets are $10 each and are available for purchase in the high school office.


Congratulations to the Elementary (grades 4 and 5) and the High School (grades 9 through 12) Archery Teams. These two teams qualified for the State Archery Tournament. The Middle School Team (grades 6 through 8) missed qualifying by only a few points.

SOFTBALL MEETING UPDATE: The Parkers Chapel Summer Softball League has moved their meeting to the ELITE NUTRITION building located at 2660 Haynesville Hwy. The meeting will be Friday, Feb. 26th, from 6:00 - 7:00 p.m. Forms will be available at the meeting. Forms may be completed in your car once you arrive. If this is your child's first year to play for the league, you will need a copy of their birth certificate to attach to the form. Board members will be inside the building and will be available to answer any questions you may have. If you have immediate questions, would like to download the form and print it from home, or can't make the meeting, you may contact Amanda Brown through email. amandaswilleybrown@gmail.com Fees per family: one child = $75, two children = $100, three or more children = $120. The ages for this league are 5 years to 14 years of age.

Early Dismissal Reminder: School will dismiss early this Friday. ABC Preschool pickup time is 12:00-12:30, PC Preschool pickup time is 12:00-12:30 or 2:30-3:00. Elementary Car line will load from 12:35-1:00. Buses will run at 1:30.

The Parkers Chapel Softball League has rescheduled their meeting. It will be held Friday, Feb. 26th, at 6:00 p.m. The current location for the scheduled meeting is the school cafeteria.

Wednesday, Feb. 24, is the last day to turn in Pageant Registration Forms, Photos, and Fees to the office. This is a HARD deadline. Late entries will not be accepted.

Menu update: Breakfast will remain the same as previously posted. Prek lunch will be ham and cheese sliders, potato wedges, and peaches. Elementary lunch choices will be ham and cheese sliders or chicken sandwich. Sides are potato wedges, peaches, vegetable bar.

On-site learning will start again tomorrow. We will not have early dismissal on Wednesday, as originally scheduled at the beginning of the school year. We will have early dismissal on Friday.

Juniors WILL NOT be taking the ACT when we return to school on Tuesday, February 23rd. The test is being rescheduled and we will notify students and parents as soon as a new test date is scheduled.

Due to back roads and some main roads still being covered with snow & ice, Parkers Chapel School will remain completely virtual Monday, February 22nd. We hope to be able to return to on-site instruction on Tuesday. The menu will be Manager's Choice the first day back and after that, we will use last week's menu for each corresponding day.

Parkers Chapel School will continue with 100% virtual instruction for the remainder of this week. Continue to submit attendance and work online through google classroom daily. School is scheduled to resume on-site next Monday.

Due to inclement weather, Parkers Chapel School District has made the decision to continue with virtual learning for the remainder of this week. Students should check Google Classroom for their assignments for Thursday, February 18th and Friday, February 19th. Teachers will be available on-line from 7:45-3:30 each day. Stay safe! We hope to see everyone back on campus on Monday, February 22nd.

Each elementary classroom teacher has an attendance form in google classroom for today. The attendance & classwork has to be SUBMITTED and must also be MARKED AS DONE. Submission of work is just one step. Please complete both steps after doing the work. Again, contact your child’s teacher through email, or their preferred method of communication, if you have questions. Work and attendance must be submitted daily before 10 PM.

Parkers Chapel School will move to virtual instruction on Tuesday (2/16) and Wednesday (2/17). Students will need to access Google Classroom or watch for messages from their teachers concerning assignments & classroom instruction. Announcements concerning possible addition weather days will be posted on the website and school Facebook pages.
