
PCES: Students are encouraged to bring a beach towel tomorrow & Friday. The elementary staff will play a game of kickball with students both afternoons. Students not playing in the game will sit on towels, watch, and cheer on their favorite teams! You may apply sunblock or send it in your child’s backpack if you think it will.be needed. Make sure your child has a WATER BOTTLE! Students are reminded to wear school appropriate shorts. They should not be too short.

Archery Awards Program - Thursday, May 12th - School Cafeteria - 6 p.m. - Tournament Winners will be announced. Boys and Girls Division Winners will receive awards. We will draw for tournament raffle prizes. Pizza and drinks will be provided.

PCES: Preschool Graduation will be held Monday, May 23rd in the Parkers Chapel Auditorium. ABC - (Mrs. Tara Morgan's class and Mrs. Melissa Slaughter's class will both graduate 8:30-9:15 a.m.) PC Prek - (Mrs. Kristi Gunter/Mrs. Julie Cates' class and Ms. Brooke Murray/Ms. Jenni Graves' class will both graduate 9:30 - 10:15 a.m.)

PCES: Kindergarten Graduation - May 24th in the Auditorium. (Brasher 8:30-9:00), (Conner 9:15 - 9:45), (Gafford 10:00 - 10:30), (Ruiz 10:45-11:15). Teachers will send home detailed letters to parents concerning graduation.

PCES: Day 1 of state testing was a success! Tomorrow the 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th graders will take the reading and language arts tests. Students are encouraged to wash their “Game Day” shirts and wear them again tomorrow if possible. Let’s get plenty of rest, eat a great breakfast in the morning, and come to school ready to show what we know!

PCES: The 3rd, 4th, 5th, & 6th grade students will take the math & science state ACT Aspire Test tomorrow. Students received a “Game Day” Trojan shirt today & we hope they will all have this on tomorrow to show we are one team working together to show what we have learned this year (and what we’ve learned in the past)! Please make sure students get plenty of rest, eat a nutritious breakfast, bring eyeglasses if needed. etc. We hope our students come to school tomorrow ready to show what they know! We will test reading & language on Wednesday, and then writing on Thursday.

PCES: Menu change - Breakfast on April 27th - the parfait will not be available. The cafeteria will substitute waffles on this date.

Archery practice is tonight from 5pm - 7pm. We will take turns shooting. We will work on form & distance. We will not keep score. We will send out our school tournament information this week.

Aftercare students are in the elementary library (safe room). The back door to the school is open & anyone that needs to seek shelter may come to the school. Come to school and enter the door at the kindergarten playground area. Students will be held until the warning is over.

PCES: This is a reminder that there will be no school this Friday.

Archery practice will be in the MAC from 5:00-7:30. Team members may attend at anytime during the scheduled practice to shoot a few rounds.

2022 Spring Testing Schedule


There will be no archery this evening. The MAC will be unavailable. We will practice next Monday. Times will be announced later.

Archery club / teams will take spring sport pictures tomorrow. Team T-Shirts will be in the elementary office. Students will need to pick up their shirts and change before pictures. This is for 4th - 12th grade students that competed in regionals in the MAC. Picture forms were sent home with students for anyone interested in a group picture.

PCES: Aftercare - There will be NO aftercare on Friday, March 18th. If your child is in the aftercare program, please notify your child’s teacher concerning how they will go home this Friday at dismissal time. Thank you.

PCES: Students that went above and beyond in their reading this past quarter are headed on a surprise trip to the MAD Playscape playground for the afternoon. A specific number of points was required for each grade. Students that reached that level were rewarded with this trip today. They will return to campus at 2:00 pm.
