Parkers Chapel School will have a drive-thru packet pick up line for kindergarten and prek registration this Thursday, 4/16, from 5:30-7:30 PM. Please pull in behind the gym from Evans Drive and follow the typical car line and pick up a packet if you need to register a student.
Students with electricity issues will be exempt from attendance and assignments today. The work assigned for today must be completed once electricity is restored. If you have questions about work or due dates, email the teacher or post a comment / question on their google classroom thread.
Meals on Wheels will not deliver lunch today. Good Friday is a scheduled calendar day off. We will see you Monday. Have a great and safe Easter weekend.

This is a reminder. Your child must log in to google classroom and complete the attendance assignment EACH school day before 8 PM to be considered present. If a student does not sign in they could be dropped from enrollment after exceeding a designated number of days.

WHAT !!!!! Students can now take AR tests from home!!! Honor system! Parents monitor students. Make sure they read the book. Anything that looks suspicious on the reports will be deleted.

El Dorado Schools asked us to share their lunch locations for today. I am attaching the picture list & info. PC will begin delivering lunches again TOMORROW.
The Parkers Chapel School District will postpone delivering meals next week until all safety supplies are received. We will notify parents through our messaging system, through our website. and through Facebook the day before we begin delivering again. See you soon.
Unfortunately someone in our district has tested positive for COVID-19. We have acted immediately based on the CDC and AR Department of Health guidelines. This person has been quarantined and will be monitored. Everyone who has come into contact with this person will be notified to self quarantine for 14 days. We ask that you remain calm, respect the privacy of all those involved, and follow the guidelines set forth by the CDC and Arkansas Department of Health.

As ordered by our governor, all public schools will be closed through April 17th, 2020. Teachers will continue to push out instruction and assessments through digital formats. Attendance, grades, and promotion will be derived from previous grades this year and the submitted work and grades on these assignments and assessments. After we are allowed to return to school, teachers will continue to assign some work through the digital format.
The buses are loaded. Today’s meal is hot dogs and lots of other goodies. We will be serving behind the gym as well. We will pull out at 11:00.
