Juniors and Seniors from Parkers Chapel High School who are interested in the electrical field after high school visited Evers Electric Company Thursday morning. The students met in the Evers Electric Training Facility and were given first hand information from some of the industry's respected experts. Clint Evers, President of Evers, was excited to visit with potential future electricians and lineman. “I am from Parkers Chapel, my kids are in school there and my oldest graduated from there. To know these boys have interest in the electrical field and are from my alma mater make this day even more exciting for the future of Evers.” Other presenters included former alumni Randy Evers, Seth Vinson and Dylan Young along with Gary Gaffney. “I could see it on the faces of each one of those guys, they were clued in to everything we were saying. They wanted to know as much as possible about the opportunities they have in the future”, said Clint. Students were given a tour of the training facility and given hands-on learning. They were also given advice and “bonus” life lessons. Students can observe one of the electrician apprentice classes that are offered or observe the lineman apprenticeship class. Clint welcomed them to use any opportunity they have to better the future of Parkers Chapel students and the electrical industry.
