The Parkers Chapel Trojans will host their 2024 Sweetheart basketball games on Friday, February 9th. The Trojans will be playing a big conference game with the Fordyce Redbugs. The Sweetheart Court presentation and pep rally will begin at 12:30 that afternoon in the gym and the crowning ceremony will be at 5:00 that evening. The senior girls will play at 6:00 followed by the senior boys. Parent/Teacher Conferences will be held Thursday, February 1st from 1:45 - 6:00 pm. School will dismiss at 1:30. School will also dismiss at 1:30 on Friday, February 9th for the Sweetheart Ceremony.

Elementary: This is a reminder that school will dismiss early this Thursday, Feb. 1, for Parent - Teacher Conferences. Prek Pick-Up will be from 12:15-12:45, the Elementary Car line will load from 1:00-1:20, and the buses will load at 1:30. Conferences will begin at 1:45. We will also have early dismissal on Feb. 9, for the Sweetheart ceremony.

3rd - 8th grade students will take the NWEA tests tomorrow morning. Testing will be over before 11:00. Please avoid checking out students during this time if possible.

This is a reminder that the Second Grade Family Breakfast is scheduled for next Wednesday, January 31, from 8:15-9:00 a.m. If you have not notified your child's teacher that you will be attending, please send a note with a count of how many will be in attendance. The cost per adult family member attending is $2.75.

Parkers Chapel School District Bus Information: Starting this afternoon, Tuesday, January 23rd, all bus routes will return to their normal routes. Students will be dropped off and picked up at their normal locations.

Parkers Chapel School District Bus information for Tuesday, January 23rd: Buses will run at normal times, but they will not be able to travel down the following roads: Glenn Road, Pickering Road, Souix Nation Road, Feedmill Road, and they cannot go past the playground in Bounds Trailer Park. You may bring students to the main roads to be picked up by the bus or to the playground in Bounds Trailer Park. We are continuing to monitor road conditions and will let you know if any changes will be made for Wednesday.

Due to road conditions, Parkers Chapel School District will be closed on Friday, January 19th. The math competition has been moved to next weekend.

Parkers Chapel School District will be closed on Wednesday, January 17th. Basketball games against Fordyce on January 16th have been postponed and will be made up at a later date.

PCSD: This is a reminder that there will be no school on Monday, January 15th in observance of Martin Luther King, Jr. day.

Parkers Chapel Band will have their Christmas Band Concert tonight at 6:00 pm in the PC Auditorium.

There will be a menu change on Wednesday and Friday of this week.

The lunch menu for this week has the following changes: Wednesday - Flatbread Pizza and Turkey/Cheese Melt (No Corn Dog) Friday - Cheeseburger and Corn Dog (No Turkey/Cheese Melt)

Santa picture update: We are currently working on the sibling list from the forms that were turned in. Again, all prek-4th grade students will take individual Santa pictures tomorrow.
