The Transition to K-12 Virtual Learning for the Remainder of This Week (December 16-18)

December 15, 2020

Due to an increased number of positive Covid-19 tests and a large portion of our faculty being quarantined, the Parkers Chapel School District will be moving to all virtual instruction as of Wednesday, December 16th, through Friday, December 18th.  We feel that it is best for our community and school district to cancel on campus instruction to decrease contact and prevent any possible spread.

Instruction will continue during this time, and all students will be expected to log on to their google classrooms for all assignments and/or exams.  Teachers will record lessons, respond to emails, and post assignments/tests for the remainder of the week.  Please respect their office hours of 8:00 am to 3:30 pm.  We will resume on-site classes on January 4, 2021.

Extracurricular activities this week or during the break are not affected by this change.

Please continue to keep our staff informed of any student that develops symptoms or tests positive for Covid-19 during this break from school.  Report this information to Nurse Kaci Burton by email at burtonk@parkerschapelschool.com or by calling 870-310-3321.

We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but again we feel it is necessary for the safety of our students, staff, and community to suspend face to face instruction at this time.  We will continue to provide the Parkers Chapel standard of instruction and appreciate your support and patience.
